Stef Harris is an emerging abstract artist practicing from her studio in Naarm, Australia.
Stef’s large scale highly saturated works are meditations on the paradox of time; transmuting ephemeral impressions and experiences of the landscape and light into lasting haptic communions. Each piece is shaped by an organic dialogue between artist, place, memory and materials. Using diluted acrylics and natural materials gathered from the site of origin of each piece, Stef’s abstract landscapes hold a strong emotional resonance that beckon the viewer into a sacred space for quiet reflection and introspection.
Stef held a successful first solo exhibition in May 2024, she was a finalist in the 2024 National Contemporary Art Prize and the 2024 Art Edit Self Represented Art Award. Her works are held in private and corporate collections both in Australia and Internationally.
